A RICS Valuation is prepared in accordance with the RICS Valuation – Global Standards (the “Red Book”).

INHERITANCE TAX (IHT) VALUATIONS
When applying for probate, property assets must be valued appropriately.
We provide fully compliant valuations suitable for submission in accordance with HMRC requirements, prepared using appropriate market evidence and professional standards.
CAPITAL GAINS TAX (CGT) VALUATIONS
CGT valuations may be required where:
- A property has been gifted
- A property is transferred at undervalue
- Inherited values are unclear
- Historical base values are required
Reports are prepared in accordance with relevant HMRC guidance and professional standards.
BCIS REINSTATEMENT COST ASSESSMENTS
We also provide BCIS Reinstatement Cost Assessments (also known as rebuild cost or sum insured calculations).
This represents the estimated cost of rebuilding the property in the event of total loss and is often required by insurers.
Accurate reinstatement cost assessments are important to avoid under-insurance.
